Why Buy a Piece of Wealth Pie?

We view it as a privilege to be able to partner with those young people overseas who are often socially, economically, and educationally impoverished. They cannot break out of the poverty quicksand unless they receive a hand up.

For 35 years, we have observed that if our young people graduate collge, their whole world changes - and that of their family. This isn’t theory. It’s fact. Our young people crave education. We do not simply provide quality education alone, but also a warm and caring family environment where their social, physical, and spiritual needs are met. In doing this, we see our young people transform from being categorized as social welfare cases to becoming Christian leaders within their communities.

Do We Really See change in our Young People?

Totally. Some are now human rights lawyers, counsellors, school principals and teachers, medical doctors, pastors, NGO and social workers. Also, we have many graduates who operate bi-vocationally as Christian leaders whilst practising as professional engineers, accountants, I.T. workers, associate professors etc.

How it Works:

Each piece of the Wealth Pie costs $100 per year. You can buy as many pieces as you like - but it is for the long term. This is not a “one-off” gift. And, we will send details on how your funds have been used.

There are two ways you can pay:

Some Facts Around our Wealth Pie Message.

First, let’s briefly explain in very simple terms what GDP (Gross Domestic Product) is. It is a measure of the total value of all the goods and services produced by a country. It is used to measure a country’s economic activity.

The four countries of USA, Australia, New Zealand, and Canada hold about 1/3 of the world’s total wealth. Just us four countries! While it is true that in the West we are struggling more to pay our bills, and we are seeing greater homelessness /urban poverty, nevertheless, our four Western countries are faring incredibly well compared to our “Countries of Operation”.

Some Statistics: The USA has a world GDP ranking of 7th. Australia and Canada are 12th and 19th resp. While New Zealand is 25th. El Salvador is 134th and Bhutan is 147th. While Honduras is 155th. Cambodia, Nepal, and Myanmar have world rankings of 161, 182, and 187 resp.

In fact New Zealand alone has a total national GDP nearly as much as the combined GDP of our “Countries of Operation,” yet New Zealand’s population is 23 times smaller.

So let’s work together to give 1000 pieces of cake each year to those drowning in poverty.
